Welcome to EarthSong Mysteries, a new body of work emerging from the foundation of the Raven Essence Project.

Overview: This is a pivotal time in our planetary evolution. What we do NOW, the choices we make and the actions we take, have the potential to affect every strata of society and each living system on the planet.

With the intention of being an evolving ecosystem of learning, EarthSong Mysteries provides many different opportunities for people to deepen their relationship with the natural world, the wisdom of their bodies, and the mysteries of the deep feminine — the sacred heart of Nature.

Friends Being with Earth Mysteries: Bringing complementary skills and perspectives to this task, a group of highly skilled, heart-centered men and women are currently gathering to allow the structure of EarthSong Mysteries to emerge through an ongoing and very dynamic conversation.

At our first meeting in the fall of 2009, I presented a vision that had been simmering in me for several years, along with ideas about how it might manifest as a curriculum. As the meeting progressed, it quickly became apparent that my original design needed to yield to our expanded field. Throughout the next nine months, we continued exploring the emerging form of EarthSong Mysteries and I’m delighted to report that we resisted the temptation to define or shape things too quickly. In hindsight, we all recognized that we were letting the mystery work us!

What we do know: We all want the form of ESM to emerge organically from within the expanded field. We trust that it is reflecting our mutual desire to be of service — to spirit, the Earth, and all beings. In differing yet complementary ways, we are passionate about what we each bring to this work, and keen to pioneer together.

The metaphor of the chrysalis describes the massive changes we see occurring in and around us at this time as old forms disintegrate and dynamic new possibilities emerge in every area of society. Our best roadmap for this evolving process is already present within us. We access the knowledge of how to participate in this radical change through our intuition, deep heart-sense, and a vibrant, embodied connection with Source. As Friends Being With Earth Song Mysteries, we are engaged in a process of transformation involving every aspect of our being.

The evolving form of ESM: In 2010 and 2011, we offered a variety of experiential workshops: Shamanism with Jeannette McCullough, Dream-work with Ursula Carsen,  Mindful body-work with Liz Rappeport, and Tarot & Divination with James Wells. I also offered courses on Embodied Intuition,  Sound Circles, flower essences, and ongoing Women’s Circles.

With a focus on experiential process rather than didactic information, all the events offered at Grey Heron are designed to help us remember who we are and to reactivate our living connection with the sacred earth.
